Coming back to Map-making

Hi, I haven't been on the forums for quite a while, I left when SCII came out. I recently got an awesome gaming computer, and decided that SCII map making will be a fun excursion.
So, I have perused some tutorials. I have noticed that SCII is very different from WC3. Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial that can help with making units from scratch?
And intro tutorials into general aspects of the galaxy editor?
I appreciate it!

if your aim is around making dotaesque maps with like heros then check out onetwosc on youtube. and their is around 5 sc2 editing communitys about that might have resources or tips or tutes that can help, otherwise trial and error is good way to learn
