Counter-Strike

I know this isnt BF2, but I cant get BF2 to work, it gets stuck at the login screen and makes my intenret crash. So im playing counter-strike.... anyway does anyone know how to extract stuff from the game? Like sounds for instance for guns or something.

u shouldn't need to extract the sounds they're already audio files and should be found in: ......\SIERRA\Counter-Strike\firearms\sound\weapons. hopes this helps good luck

well I have source and everything is compressed together into a few files only. I need more than just audio files too. I dunno, its not a big deal, if someone knows share the info.
