custom sky

im working on a new map
i set the sky to generic under preferences
but its not showing in game why is this so

I could be wrong, but I think that only effects the sky in the editor itself, not when you're playing the game.

all the tutorials say the sky works only in game and not in the editor
and besides im not getting any sky in editor either
EDIT fyi the camera is place parallel to ground, so i should be able to see sky

Try using a trigger to manually set the sky.

it worked using triggers but dunno why it wont using editor preference

To view the sky in editor, you need to go into the View menu and check Sky or Lock to Game View Settings, then it should start showing up.

yea i realised that but the problems fixed now
i had to use jass to set a custom sky tho
