Damage Detection

Trigger - Add to Blade Mail <gen> the event (Unit - (Entering unit) Takes damage)

Um, I can see the problem. You need to save the entering unit as a variable, then add the event (ThisUnit takes damage) or whatever, unless the game does that anyway :s

Also yes, use weep's system. It's awesome ^.^

You could try adding all units with blademail into a unit group, then using a trigger to detect damage being taken, then check that the damaged unit is in the unit group. Then run your actions.
