damage reduction w/out text in screen.

Hmm. When the unit with the "reduced" damage damages another unit, set it's hit points to "hit points - damage + 10" or something like that.

I think he meant.


Trace the unit that takes damage.

Add to unit hp the set amount you want to reduce.
Works in GUI also.

I think he meant he wants the text that's risen from things like critical strike to not show.

When you get -10 damage by say cripple it shows a red number and a - .

I think he meant if there is a way to not have that number.

use defend ability, and reduce the damage field in there, but u need to activate defend first before the effect starts (this is what split shot from medusa used)

wow... cool idea.. but i'll use hardened skin instead.. 'cause it's passive. +rep
now i also have a solution to my 'damage' balance problem..
