Damage without Regeneration + Giving life on kill

I'm trying to make a trigger in which a unit takes 7 damage every 8 seconds. If the triggering unit kills a unit too it will get +10 hp, for instance, on a rabbit, +20 on a stag and etc. etc.

Now, whenever I tried making a trigger like this

Trigger:
  • Time - Every 8.00 seconds of game time
    • Unit - Cause Devourer 007 <gen> to damage Devourer 007 <gen>, dealing 7.00 damage of attack type Hero and damage type Death


I turned everything even related to regen off in object editor. Could someone help me on both these triggers?

For anyone else reading this topic. To change a value (any value) in the object editor to negative, you can:
1) Goto File -> Preferences and allow negative values in the object editor.
OR
2) When double clicking a value to edit in the object editor, hold shift to overrule the limitations (enabling you to input a negative value).
