Chapter 1:Reunions and introductions

I could hear bacon frying downstairs as i rubbed the sleep out of my
eyes. I looked at my bedside clock,five-thirty am;time for school. I
took a shower and got dressed.My dad was reading the morning news when
i got downstairs. I grabbed a seat as the maid arrived with the bacon.
Looking up from his newspaper my dad spoke up,breaking the silence.
"Now Alistair i don't want anyone knowing about your "job" got that?"
I nodded thinking the same thing.After eating breakfast my dad drove me
and my younger sister to school.After a few minutes of travel we arrived
around six-thirty am.My sister joined her grade seven friends while i made
my way towards the third year area. Suddenly a girl bumped into me causing
her to drop her book bag. I immediately dropped down to pick it up when our
eyes met."Alistair? is that you?" The girl asked me. It took me a moment
to recognize Tracy my best friend when i used to still study at this
school,back when i had a normal life."Tracy! i didn't recognize you,wow you sure have grown." She giggled "I could say the same thing for you."I shrugged,"I guess i just had to outgrow the old me a bit. So anyways
what's up?" She shrugged,"Dante and the others have been wondering
why you've disappeared for three years." Suddenly a guy obviously a jock
approached us,"What are you doing with this guy?" He snarled."I was just
saying hi Drake." The jock looked at me,"Let's go then." He practically
dragged her away. "I'll see you around some other time Alistair." she
said before drake pulled her away. Just then i heard someone shout my
name,It was Dante."Hey man long time no see,hows it going?",I shrugged.
"I just settled back in nothing interesting there and what's the deal
with Tracy and Drake?,I remember that drake didn't even like Tracy so
what gives?" He rolled his eyes."Ugh those two,Tracy's dating drake
because of the upcoming prom in February. People say they make the
perfect king and queen." Just then the bell rang. "I'll see if i can
get the guys together at our old clubhouse. Remember? It's back at my
house.I guess I'll see you later" We exchanged our old secret handshake
before he disappeared amongst the mass of students surging into the building.The rest of the day was pretty dull,the standard first day stuff that
sorta thing.At lunch i ran into drake and his friends,not exactly a good
thing,"Watch where you're going jerk." he signaled for his buddies to
make a small ring around us. I could hear the kids chanting,wanting for
blood. Suddenly he charged right at me screaming,fists raised,teeth
bared in a hideous grimace.I dodged to the left and delivered a sweeping
low kick making him loose his balance.As soon as he fell i leaped into the
air and landed a good distance away from the crowd just as the bell rung
The rest of the day was filled with news about the kid that defeated Drake
Rivers in one kick,leaped away and landed a few meters away from the crowd.As i was on my way towards Dante's house when a few people started asking me questions about the fight during lunch period. I just shrugged and told them it was no big deal.Not satisfied with my answer they continued to bug me until i threatened to kick there ass,That scared them.I reached Dante's house and his mom welcomed me in.As I made my way towards the backyard I noticed something on the ground that seemed familiar.Upon closer inspection i found out it was one of my old action figures from back when me and Dante used to play together.I placed it in my pocket and went towards the tree house.Inside i found Dante,Karen,Denise,Rayne,Diana and Jarick all seated around the only table.When they saw me they immediately got up and started to hug and slap my back.I realized that someone was missing,"Where's Tracy?" I asked them."She had to go to Drake's house because she had to nurse his "highness'" injuries.Rayne said with a sneer,the others just shrugged. After awhile Dante invited us to his living room to play a few games on his console.It was already seven in the evening when i decided to go home."Will your mom or dad pick you up?" They asked.
"Nah I'll take a jeep.",I said goodbye and stepped out into the cool evening air.After i found a good hiding place i concentrated on growing me a pair of green leathery demonic wings.They erupted from my back with a sickening
crack,I was quite used to the process having done it numerous times.I rose into the air and flew towards my house.

How interesting, but I still don't get this whole 'job' thing or the demonic wings. Still, it hits me hard 4/5. But what do you mean by the formatting, where did you try to format it?
