Disable unit's turning

Found a workaround

Hi. Is there any efficient way to disable a unit turning capability? I'd need the unit to apart from that being unable to move, attack but use abilities. And I need to restore this afterwards. (So removing 'Aatk' and 'Amov' is out of question)

To disable unable to move, go to your unit, and find
Movement - Speed Base
and make it 0
Then go to
Movement - Type
and make it None

Then attack.
Set all the ranges to 0
Make the attack types to nothing
And make the targets allowed to nothing
And make all the Damage and Cooldown time to 0

I need to do this by triggers, and your method doesn't either allow me to restore it. At least the attack-related part.
But nevermind, come to think of it. I found a suitable solution. Thanks anyways.

Not attacking and not moving while still being able to cast spells is very simple: create a dummy and use Entangling Roots on it.

Not being able to turn... :banghead: without a periodic forced facing trigger, I think.

Interresting suggestion. I'll however do a workaround instead. But thanks though.

Maybe have a Dummy unit that is the same but it is a building. This will disable turning. Set the movement speed for the dummy to 0 and set the attack cooldown to 99999. This should work. (also remove the ground texture)
