Disabling Icon "usage"

On certain spells, when you use them, they have the green border type thing, indicating that they're in use, is there anyway to take that border off?

There is a field in gameplay interface that pastes that green thing there when it's in use. If you remove that, you don't see it in the game. Find it yourself.
But I fail to see why is it important o.o

That disables the green border for all the spells right? I don't want that, I just need it for one spell.

It just looks A LOT better. 2 spells next to each other, 1 spell has a 3 second green border, other spell has none (looks gross).

Edit: Does it still have the weird thing where you can't use it while it has the green border?

Hmm, what spells are we talking about? What do they do, what are they based on? Casting time?

Actually, there're supposed to have 0 casting time and 0 cooldown. Basically, they're dummy spells for an extended inventory.

Oh, my bad, one's based off beserk, and one's based of war stomp (neutral hostile).

I guess war stomp gas the green thing.
Well, why don't you just base both on Channel?
Make follow through time to 0.00, does just what you want.

What spell should I use? I don't really want to guess and check 10 different spells .......

"Channel" It's a Hero abilit by default.
You also should check Options - Visible to true, Disables other Abilities false, and make it instant (no target).
And look up some Channel tutorials (use search)

I changed both spells, and now they aren't appearing in my spell book?

After I changed them I removed and re-added them to the spell book and nothing changed.

EDIT: Bleh, forgot to check visibility...
