It affects where the text appears on the screen. For instance, if you want to mimic a Death Coil's "Must target enemy organic units" message, you could set x to, perhaps, 300, and y to -50. I've never messed around with those, though, so I'm unsure about the numbers.

However negative values don't seem to work from some reason...
You have to experiment in order to find the right coordinates for whatever you're trying.

What are max cordinates for these values and is there any easy way to get cordinates what you need ?

Well as I said...experiment.
Make a chat message event with actions that create these messages according to what you typed.
For example
call DisplayTimedTextToPlayer(Player(0), S2R(GetEventPlayerChatString()), 0., 5., "test")

The maximum possible is around 10.0 if I'm not mistaking.
