Is this the file that controls what model/skin files show up as for your local computer? I've heard there are ways to edit a certain mpq (not sure if its war3xlocal) so that they apply to all games not just overriding a directory path with the import editor.
A couple more questions:
1) Will this lead to a ban from ladder games, due to the new models & skins?
2) Can sounds be edited, & can you technically make the game run faster by editing/removing parts of the file?
