Here is an interesting game the strategy-minded among you might enjoy: Empire Attack! The game's basic idea is simple: you win by controlling the most squares on a gridded playing surface, expanding from square to square by putting a certain amount of population on each square. You have a home city, and every square must be connected, chain-like, to that city, or else it will slowly decay. You are competing with other empires for squares, and can directly conquer their squares or sabotage them by cutting off their squares from their home city.
