Firefox and Windows Media Player

Probably a really simple answer to this but for some reason i cannot watch videos that say Windows Media Player online in firefox. I can watch youtube, but for some reason a Windows Media Player video shows up it just loads indefinitely, although sometimes it works more often it doesnt. I tried download some pluggins none of which worked. Help please.

The plugins you got may have been poorly made, or the sites hosting the videos may be slow and make the videos not loadable as fast as needed.
