Fog of war

is it possible to make Fog of war to be dark. I want it not to be able to see through it or as dark as possible. Thx

there is the black mask.. but you cant see the minimap with that.

I don't really understand what you mean. Can you be more specific. Do you wan't the fog of war darker? Do you wan't it to hide all terrain?

i want it to be darker, i want it to hide all terrain but i can see through it and i want to be so dark so none can see whats next =)
And lade what is that black mask, how to put it and what do you mean you don't see minimap with it. thx

just like the campaigns then?

use black mask. enable it on initialization.

(and if you didnt understand me, i dont see units under the Fog of war but i see mountains and buildings, and i want it to be completely black)

Hey man . use [wc3 ] and [/wc3 ] tags in the code. without space. Like:

• Events
  • Map initialization
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • Visibility - Create an initially Enabled visibility modifier for Player 1 (Red) emitting Black mask across (Entire map)
    • Visibility - Enable black mask

oops, i thought that did it.. but it seems i was wrong.

but according to Ace, this should do it for ya:

Menu: Scenario / Map options, uncheck "masked areas...".
