Getting Item Abilities

Is there a function that can get the abilities on an item?

What do you want to do?

'Use Item' "gets" the ability of an item..

Let's say an item has +2 damage, +5 agi, and + 10 armor, k? Can I get those from just the item?

You mean you want to make an item that gives these bonuses?
Or do you want to give these bonuses to a unit, without the unit having the item?

UGH......... all I want to do is GET the abilities.. not add them to anything..

If you meant an item that gives these bonuses you want, go to Ability tab and make a new ability based on an item ability (For armor, base it on Item Bonus Armor) and for damage, base it on damage attack, etc.

Then add your made abilities into the item's ability list. That's it.

If you mean that if a unit picks an item and uses it and gives him stats and etc, just post and let us know.

Kinda confusing the GET ability thing you want
is this means. If item A has ability "Smelly"
Where the smelly give the item +10 armour.

Thus, you want the game to display a text thats says "Item A has Smelly ability which is +10 armour" when you select the item?

I see.. If you have a unit with 15 armor and 5 agi, and pick up an item with 10 armor and 10 agi, then your unit will end up with those stats? By other means, he'll lose 5 armor, but acquire 5 agi.

Let me use a related example. Let's say I want to store a unit's location in a variable. Let's say the unit is "a". So you would GET the unit a's location, and then set that to a variable.

yes he could if he gives the skills via trigger or stores the attributes of the items
