GIMP - Texts

To thoose who uses GIMP. Are there any option where you can use "cool text". I'm trying to write a text for my loading screen but it looks so strange with the fonts. I've seen loading screen with for example letters that looks like ice, is thoose made with Photoshop? Or is it possible with GIMP too?

If you install fonts on your computer, you can use the fonts in GIMP.

Theres a good place for free fonts here.

To install fonts:

1. Download the font.
2. Go to control panel
3. Double click the 'Fonts' folder.
4. Copy and paste the font file into the font folder.
