So here is my version of the spell you asked for. It creates units for the segments of the wall, you could do destructibles instead (which can't be targeted) but theres no "Set expiration time" for destructible, which makes destroying them after a certain duration difficult if you have a lot of units that can cast this spell.
The trigger called Wall Variables has a bunch of parameters you can set for the wall, like its size, what unit you use, etc. Any questions let me know, hope it was helpful.
there is one issue of placing the wall on top of units, i tried setting the collision size of all units on the map to 0 before putting the wall down, but it still got messed up if there were units in the way
so my solution was if there are units in the way, knock them back a certain distance, then put the wall down
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
