hey, newbie needs help

Im making a defence map, and was wondering how i can make the spawns follow a specific path without restricting the "hero" units paths.

Use pathing blockers [air/ground].
Make all your heroes ground, and make all the creeps air.

.... use rects/regions and trigger them differently.

Do that or make dummy units along the path and get them to move from one to another down the path.
