How can I tell if it's 2.0? I know I have the port, just not what version it is.

Getting ready to buy a new graphics card, and just wanted to make sure I got the right one. :D

MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD is the manufacturer, and the model is a MS-7312, according to Speccy.

Edit: Brand is Phoenix Technologies, LTD.

Oh damn it. Well, I'm glad I asked before I went out and bought a card I couldn't use. Looks like it's time to buy a new motherboard. :D

Thanks.

this should clarify it - note how it has a "blocker" near the edge of the motherboard as opposed to near the center, (the old pci has the blocker near the center of the board)

If your motherboard only has PCI-E 1.1. A PCI-E 2.0 card will still work.

PCI-E 2.0 is just a newer revision, but any PCI-E card will work with any PCI-E slot.

But your motherboard only has PCI, which is old and slow.
