how the hell do i make a map

:banghead:how in the hell do i make a map.plz tell how the hell i do.

use world editor

by default it opens a minimal size map

change some terrain add 2 start points (for 2 different players)
(make sure to enable player slots in player properties)

add a few gold mines (unit neutral passive) and trees (doodads)
and your all set

though you can always open and customize one of the ready made multiplayer maps

Try opening a default Warcraft 3 melee map as a reference to learn some stuff from them.

if you are interested in map-making... i would say don't worry about warcraft 3... the world is moving towards starcraft 2 now... learn how to use galaxy editor....

you can pre-order sc2 from gamestop to get a beta key
which means you only need to put down $5 for a beta key
then pay the rest of the game off later

but.... thats later
once you get beta key you get the editor
