How to make a macro??

Not sure if its even called a macro

but.

Basicly for this game I'm playing you need to micro a lot so I was thinking of making like progam that if I hit F5 for example I will hit a bunch of keys and click a bunch of places.

Almost like a bot but not for illegal purposes ( Game is made by a friend ).

SO I Hit the button I want it to , Press 1 , 2 , 3 and click 3 places.
How would I script and assemble this?

I hit F5 , Presses 1 , Clicks X,Y cordinates , Presses 2 and so on.

You mean like the macro tool for WoW? Well, the game you're playing might have a feature like this, but probably not...

Where to start.. Well first off, how much background in scripting/programming do you have? And, what is the game/does the game support 3rd party mods?

If you want to make this custom, use visual basic.

Depends...

What programming language do you know? If you know one it should go quickly. If you have a highend Keyboard(Logitech G15 for instance) you can record macros.

If you want to program you would have to setup a keyboard hook and the rest is easy. Just simulate clicks.

Oh and if your friend made it, ask him what language it was made in, and ask him if he could give you the source code, it'd make it a lot easier..
