If you have hosted any of your games on Bnet they should be on http://mapgnome.org/browse/sort-hosted/east/1 its a great database of every map played on Bnet since the websites launch im guessing you wont have hosted all your maps as everyone has a archive of unfinished unhosted maps but you never know
This happened to me too, my computer had to have windows reinstalled and only saved things in my documents folders, uninstalling wc shouldnt remove any of your costum maps tho? I've uninstalled it before and its never done that to me?
Well its kind of confusing
1.I installed WC3
2.I Re-formatted
3.I began to patch
4.It errored, because I am missing something in my Local Disk Drive that was erased when I re-formatted.
5.I deleted WC3, thinking I backupped my maps (there was no un-install)
6.I installed. Maps are gone
Thanks Samael! +rep
to typhoid as well
EDIT:THe programs confusing I did search, do I wait untill I see all the map files, then restore them?
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
