i need help with doors

How do i make doors open and close? like a marine walks up to it the door goes down the marine walks away and it closes. i can't seem to figure it out...

Use the "Set doodad state" trigger.

CONDITION
- Current player brings at least 1 men to 'Door 1'
ACTION
- Disable doodad state for 'Left Upper Door' at 'Door 1'
- Preserve trigger

That opens it.

CONDITION
- Current palyer brings exactly 0 men
ACTION
- Enable doodad state for 'Left Upper Door' at 'Door 1'
- Preserve trigger

That closes it.

Also crucial is knowing what kind of doors you're dealing with. The direction (left or right) of the door is based on going south to north, so a door facing like / is left and one like \ is right.
