Is There an Easier Way to Add Damage Bonuses?

Well, I was wondering if there was an easier way to add a damage bonus to a unit, I don't mind if it is the green text (probably better if it is). I want a formula that gives a unit damage, based off level and level of ability. I didn't want to use up about 10KB of space making an 800 level ability that I don't need to.

u can do this i think....

JASS:
<b>Event- </b>A unit begins casting an ability
<b>Condition-</b>Ability Being Cast = (Your Spell Here)
<b>Action </b>
Damage Target- Causing Casting Unit To Damage Target Unit Of Ability Being Cast 4x(Real Hero Intelligence))


I not shure if this is what u meant

Hmm, is there a way to add the green damage bonus?

EDIT: Nvm, an extra 6 KB isn't going to hurt too much

BTW, how do you detect if a unit has an ability without (Ability Being Cast)?

Level of 'Ability' for (Triggering Unit) Greater than/Equal/etc. 0/1/2/etc.?

Found under Integer Comparison, by the way.
