I'm running the latest patch (1.25) and using NewGen 1.5d and whenever I try to test my map, it takes me to the main WC3 TFT menu. I already have RtC disabled. Don't know what to do :(

save the map before testing is one of the most common errors if you didn't do that try that.
Otherwise there is some bug in jass script you have try disabling trigger by trigger to find out what the problem is.

Otherwise there is some bug in jass script you have try disabling trigger by trigger to find out what the problem is.

I've re-installed Wc3 and newgen and tons of stuff just to find out this was the problem! I imported all my triggers from another one of my maps though, so anyway to speed up the process (is there a debugger that works?)
EDIT: Really weird, I tried another map which I know to work, but it still wouldn't let me test.

Found a trigger that doesn't work for whatever reason...

Code:
library LibraryGlobals initializer Init

    globals
            //HERO VARIABLES
            constant integer STATUP = 'A00N'
            constant integer STATDIS = 'A00W'
            constant integer CONFIRMCHOICE = 'A04C'
            effect HEROGLOW = null

            integer array STATPOINTS

            integer ARMCOUNT = 0
            integer TRINKETCOUNT = 12
            integer RNDINTEGER = 0
            integer array ARM
            integer array TRINKET

            //MISC. VARIABLES
            constant integer DUMMYID = 'n00E'

>Uhmm he said he already disabled it

My bad, I assumed that, as it was my problem.

Thunderpower, disable your antivirus and re-download JNGP, then test. See if the result is different. Some of the DLL's use an injection method to work with world editor, AV's don't like that.

No, it's the trigger above. Actually, it's every jass trigger in my map. I've disabled all of them, except the one above, and it still doesn't work. However, if I disable the trigger above, it will work. I also downloaded a few custom spell maps written in jass to see if it was a problem on my end, and they all worked. :( So it has to be the trigger above. Don't know what though. I imported it from an old map (I haven't played/modded wc3 in 1year + . I also checked all the variables, and they all reference a correct object.

My preferred method of testing is to save it to the Maps folder in Warcraft III. The editor will give you an error if you try to save while in the game, or if the map is selected in the menu to create a new custom game. Simply click on one of the nearby melee maps, save, and then double click your map to begin testing. I find this way faster because you don't have to start Warcraft III each time.
