Kongregate World Cup Forum Game Trophy Design

I was asked a few days ago by a user at Kongregate to design some trophies for their forum game based on the world cup, this is what I came up with (remembering that the ant is Kongregate's unofficial mascot)

Disclaimer: A lot is wrong with these as images but as designs I'm quite happy with their outcome

Cool looking design. I think it would have been neat to see the ant devouring the world, though.

You need to clean it up quite a bit right now. Also make sure your shadows are correct.

I agree with Whitesock. The shadow is a little off. And the limbs are a bit misplaced.

If you want to be all scientific and shiz, all legs on an ant are connected to the the thorax (middle body section).

I don't know about other people, but I confused it with a beetle holding the world on the back of its shoulders. Though going at the hercules beetle play, they have verticle pincers, as opposed to the pincher beetle. It's probably the notches on the left pincer that fooled me at first.

A bit rough, and simplistic for art design, which is actually a good thing in this case.
