Okay i just re-installed L4D2 and when i play versus on my own other special bot infected spawn. Is there a patch that made the specials spawn when there are not a full house of human players

As far as I know, AI-controlled Special Infected have always spawned to make up for a lack of players on the Infected team, if that's what you're asking.

^This is incorrect... Prior to patch 2.0.1.1(Dated Feb. 05) Infected bots would not spawn in versus mode.

Thanks. Damn now melee weapons do less damage, no wonder i struggle to kill the tank now
