'spent most of the afternoon tweaking and making some very nice changes.

and yes, AoS Multiplayer Beta will come with the next update!

here's a sneak peek at the updates:

What is the problem with the Dragon and Archnathid rune? Why are they still inactive?
Nice that you removed the boring temporary items. Are you planning on creating your own? I can help you with some ideas. :thup:

I need a better idea for the Dragon Rune, something offense oriented that can work for tanks or maybe even dps.

Arachnathid Rune is still in line for recoding (more stuff ahead of priority)

Anyway, I sense that you've been playing loads of LoL. Minions 0_o

It is difficult to actually create an offensive rune that works well with tanks and mages, as well as DPS. What you can try is something that creates small little Dragonlings that fly around you for teh lulz.

Finished coding the 'minion' aggression system.

1) Minions will not attack the hero when there are still enemy minions around.
2) Minions will only attack the hero if it is alone.
3) When a hero damages a nearby allied hero the minions will bypass rule number 1 and go straight for the attacker.

1) Towers will not attack the hero when there enemy minions around.
2) Towers will be forced to attack a hero when it damages a nearby allied hero.


and here;s the model for the 'thing'.. i dont know if it will progress into a hero but if i get good enough ideas for it then why not.

Was just playing around with the map. However, after I while, I kept getting debug message of something "has reached the limit". I can't remember exactly.

what hero were you using?
(might be skill related)

how long did you play?
(i once tested the spawn consistencies by leaving the map running for about an hour or more, no heroes used though.)

did you have severe problems after that?

The error message kept repeating and repeating endlessly. Let me find the replay. Hold on.

Actually, I can't find the replay @_@. I was playing The Witch King. I think it occurred about 20-30 minutes in the game. MyLastReplay file is a test map that I tested :p

anything special you did or tried doing?
if you can remember, please be precise on the error message it gave.

i combed through all my triggers (i hope all of them) and found no debug mesage containing the word "limit" though.

and i tested spamming with the witch king with 1 sec cooldown on all abilities.
all i got was the AIDS error on a null unit (still havent figured that out, but i think it doesnt affect gameplay that much.)

I really can't remember that clearly. All I remember was that the error message was displaying constantly.

in other news our country's inaugurating our new president tomorrow.

but why do you guys care right?...

because it's effectively a holiday for us meaning i'll be working on the map.

just finishing up for a few stuff now, i just recoded Gravity Chaos and one more hero to check some numbers.. other systems are a-ok.

Multiple spells now do not affect invulnerables and spell immunes. (Report if I missed something please.)
Game clock bug.
Fountains will not regenerate enemies.
Tooltip error on CounterOffensive
Visual bug on Leeching Arrows
Proc bug on Arc Lightning
Fixed Killing Intent bug for not correctly increasing attackspeed.

Known Issues:
Some projectiles glitch when reaching map bounds (does not crash the game though, just be careful and dont overdo it)
"Limit has been reached" bug found by Glenphir

WOOTZ! I'll try and get some friends to try this out tomorrow!

Just had a game of DotA. Absolutely awesome (Heart Zeus xD)
I'll try and get a game tomorrow, 'cos I have to get ready for something ATM. I'll throw in some feedback and a replay after the game :)

I hope it appeals to them :D
 
Just tested Dravens Ghastly Whirlpool and got the following message:

Error using AIDS: Trying to get the id (inlines) of null unit.
(null)

Attached a replay for you to watch. Maybe it has something to do with that I was too close to the tower.

I loled at the failed attempt on my first spell! :p

argh.. these things are annoying. i really dont know what causes them

since they're nearly not replicable..

i tried what you did (wolf buff on the exact same lane but nothing)

EDIT:

After carefully watching the replay.., found out stuff about what happened.

1, it happened when the spell ended.
2, the errors appeared by pair.
3, the errors were periodic.

    I tried to open a food truck in Sandpoint a few years ago but the city said no, then like two years later they passed new laws to encourage it and gave them all fucking tax breaks and shit. And at that point I didn't have enough money to go buy one so I was way too late to the game once other cities realized they could just bring their existing truck there, or sell their brick and mortar.

It's few and far between to see very inspiring success stories where the person actually got it through hard work and perseverance. I thought about opening one lots and I always just end up not thinking it'll work. I would much rather just find someone that has that money and go work for them

    @Varine with the restaurants, there surely is a lot of luck and hard work but most restaurants fail because they suck. Flair isn't right, economics not well thought through, food is mediocre or sucks, location is bad, etc. If you're thinking about opening one, make sure you're looking at the stories of those that would be playing at your level, don't let your hopes be dragged down by all the subpar restaurants out there.

    The CompTIA stuff is pretty much crap unfortunately. The places that ask for those low-level certs aren't likely places you want to work. For IT you really want a degree, but in the meantime you need to figure out some way to learn the skills. Cybersecurity is really hot right now so competition is fierce.
