Leveling on permanent immolation

I have permanent immolation as a hero skill, but it deals the level 1 damage at all levels. The tooltip works each level, and I think that the AoE improves as well. Does anyone know if this is hardcoded in to the spell, or...?

It's not really hardcoded. Just some bug. You can try hide/unhide the unit after levelling up. Or Pause/Unpause. I can't remember...

with spells such as immolation and manashield and such the ability won't be able to use the upgraded effects of the spell till after it is deactivated and then reactivated, and with permaimmo you can't deactivate, which is what causes your problims, but as the post above this said, pause/unpause might deactivate then reactivate the ability.
