When locking Camera Field, how to make minimap black?

Okay so I set / locked the camera field for a player. Then it shows this weird stuff on the minimap giving false directions. How do I make it so I can either change the minimap (i.e pyramid escape style) or make the minimap black?

I need 2 make it both ways (the minimap black and the imported minimap)

And also how do I set it from getting a black minimap back to its original minimap? Meaning the original as in the actual map of the game (the minimap map it started out with the game)

The minimap is an image file inside your map.
Either created by the editor, or imported as "war3mapMap.tga" (optionally as .blp).

That file is fixed.
That image is fixed. Once and for all.
There's no trigger action to change it. (No, JASS is not magical either)


Pyramid Escape has an imported minimap that only shows a single ground tile.
The effect is basically an optical illusion.

That map does not change in the game.
Only the parts the camera is allowed to see (camera - set bounds).


Importing a back image will pretty much disable the minimap, other than the colored dots and the camera borders.
There's some rumors that importing an image with size 0, i.e. an image file with no content, will completely disable the minimap to the point where not even the dots are showing anymore... (unverified).


Some buildings, like neutral shops show an image on the map.
It is possible to import a different image to show instead.
Presumably, that image can be rather large as to cover the entire minimap.
And, you could create or remove those structures as needed.


A black mask visibility modifier can grow the black back.

For the black mask part, thats my question in my other thread. How do i properly set up a black mask to grow the "black" back in the minimap?
