Multiple Weapons of the Same Type

Hi, i'm having this little problem and i'm not sure whether i've missed out something. Basically what i'm trying to do is give a unit multiple weapons of the same type(let's say, 6 lasers) on different turrets. However, i noticed that when in combat, it only uses ONE of the 6 weapons and not all at the same time, even though i've already disabled linked cooldowns. I've tried duplicating the weapon(as in still 6 lasers, but different "weapon" each) and it worked perfectly fine, just not when it's only the same weapon type. Has anyone encountered and solved this problem?

Have you tried increasing the number of attacks to 6 for that weapon?

No i can't do that u see. Because the whole point here is that the unit can change the number of weapons(and types too) it holds at any time. So it won't be just 6.

Example:

Unit A has the following weapons:
3xLasers
2xMachine Guns
2xMissiles

He activates an ability which changes his weapons to:
5xLasers
1xCannons
1xMachine Guns

You see the point here? Note also that all weapons will be mounted on different turrets, hence they also have different attack angles, so i can't just restrict the attack to one weapon.

Don't the weapons have some kind of id-string?

Try changing this once, so it's unique for each weapon.
