My heroes don't count as heroes!

Hi, I'm making a new map and have made a few new heroes to go with it. However my heroes don't seem to count towards the maximum hero amount i.e. I can have more than three total heroes per player and it is also possible for one player to create more than one of the same hero.

I there anyway to stop this?

in the gameplay constants is a list of heros, add yours to them

Do you mean you want duplicate heroes to exist?
If yes delete the "Melee Game - Limit Heroes for all players to 1 hero per type"
for the initialization trigger.
