need help on 2 spells, pushback and jump/slide

ok so i help 2 spells, knock-back spell and jump/slide spell

my problem with jump is coming up with the basic idea of how to make a jump spell
and with push-back i need to make it push far enough and look smooth while doing so

here's what i think might work but not really sure
jump:
pause the unit increase the z (over time) and move the unit in a direction until it is at the midpoint using either move instantly at an interval or increase speed and order move unit
, then decrease the z until endpoint, then give back unit control

push-back
my main problem here is while using an interval of .01 sec, he either looks like he is teleporting the unit a very short distance many times or he isn't pushed far enough

I was confused with jumps, too..

And, don't use 0.01.
use 0.03125

And,

set EnemyX = CasterX + Radius * Cos(Rad)
set EnemyY = CasterY + Radius * Sin(Rad)

call SetUnitPosition(Enemy, EnemyX, EnemyY)
