Orb Ability Given to Unit - Messed Up Tooltip

I want to give a unit a chance to slow the target on attack, which is just how Slow Orb works, so I copied it onto the unit, and it works, except that the slow ability that the orb ability triggers displays on the unit, the icon is greyed out like it isn't available, and the advanced tooltip is messed up and displays random characters.

I could do this with a dummy caster casting slow, but this is so close to working, and so much easier. Has anyone done this before? I'd like to either remove the icon (and put my own dummy icon in), or fix the tooltip and grey out.

[Edit]: Screw it, I made it work with a dummy caster.

orb of lightning works like this:

-it shows the tooltip of the ability your trying to give chance to.
-the learn tooltip is shown on the "orb of lightning" ability
-it is always greyed out on normal tooltip

and yeah its probli easier to use a dummy ability and keep the actual orb of lightning ability as an "item ability" so its not visible.
