Real NewGen Problem

hello, i downloaded newgen last thursday... I started map making then testing the map... it loads the map then i play the map...
One day...
When I test the map again.. there is an lua error which says :
"wehack.lua:437: attempt to index global 'rtc_enabled'(a nil value)"
then if minimizes the world editor.... it loops and start all over again...
idk why... but i tried to redownload + reinstall the newgen but nothing happens..
any help?

Try disabling RtC in the NewGen WE Menu.

Reinventing the Craft > Uncheck 'Enable Reinventing the Craft'

Then try testing your map again. Hope this helps!

Yes, disable RtC.

This is such a common question, a simple search for "wehack" on these forums would have revealed a dozen or more thread with the answer. :nuts:

Haha. Guess RtC's that buggy. Why was it included in NewGen anyways, if it was an unused feature, by say 90% of users? :nuts:

RtC is a tool that allows you to easily add custom natives to Warcraft III using nAPI.

Awesome.

A real shame it's buggy though. Maybe when I get a load of time to learn this I'll get to use RtC with NewGen. Hopefully.

Disable your anti-virus while installing, I think is the solution.
