This is another really easy Bachelor friendly recipe that is down home comfort eating!
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of frozen tater tots (you will use about 4 cups of the tots)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup (you can use cream of chicken as a replacement)
- 1 can diced green chiles (optional the small can of chiles like half the size of your soup cans or you can use a can of rotel tomatos) also optional)
- 1 12 oz bag of cheddar cheese
- 1 to 1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- Preheat oven to 350-375
- Take the uncooked hamburger meat and layer it in the bottom of your casserole dish and mash it down so it is a bottom layer
- Then, chop your onion and layer it on top of the meat
- Mix up your soups and all canned ingredients and if you want season with Season All or Cayenne Pepper if you like it HOT! (undiluted - no water)
- Then layer the soup mixture on the onions and meat
- Then put the 4 cups of frozen tater tots on top of that, you can push them into the soup and use how much you want of the tater tots
- The shredded cheese goes on top - use the whole bag of cheese if you want, but at least 2 cups
- If you dont like cheese leave it out. If you like green beans, add a can of green beans to the soup mixture
- Bake for 45 minutes covered in foil.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to brown the tater tots and melt the top cheese
- Let sit for 10 minutes before serving
