Reverting to an older version of WC3

Is there any way of reverting to an older version (namely, 1.21)? I downloaded the 1.22 patch, but NewGen doesn't seem to be compatible with it. I tried installing an old patch that I had on my laptop, but it said that it didn't need to be installed... is there any work around to this?

I need to get my spell contest entry finished and get more work done on some heroes for the map I'm working on, and I'd rather not have to wait and see if NewGen will be made compatible within that time (unless I'm doing something wrong)

EDIT: By the way, what's the latest version of WC3 before the 1.22 patch? I'm downloading 1.21b because that's the latest one I can find

If you go to wc3campaigns there is a news item about the patch, somewhere in the comments of that they have a temp fix to get newgen working until a new version is released.
