RPG Idea in the Making

Ive been thinking about all this new random stuff ppl have been adding to there maps and what they think they want to add to their maps n stuff. So i have start a new RPG map (don't know what to call it yet). The map will have a save n load code to it (already know how to get one) that can save the abilitys and their levels, heros and their levels, and their items, along with 'Quest Points' (QP) that you gain by completing quests (more QP the better rewards for certain quests and better items available). I have made it a two sided thing with Humans vs Orcs (you can choose your side in game) and i have 5 different types of heros on each side. for the humans its: Marksman, Preist, Sorceress, Paladin, Swordsman. For the orcs its: Hunter, Shaman, Rider, Axeman, Warlock. I have come up with an idea for the game and its to become the Kings' / Lords' Military Advisor and destroy the humans/orcs (depending on what side your on). The humans will have a medium sized kingdom with a wall and such and the orcs will have small tribes randomly posted through out the map.

So what im trying to get to is that i need help in these areas:
- Items for both sides
- Ability Ideas
- Quest Ideas (fit with theme)
- Trigger help here and there
- A good terrainer to help me
- Custom skins (maybe)
- Random Ideas (please dont be rediculus)

If you could help me in any way i am thankful.

(If i get this going i will post screen shots and stuff through out this thread)
 
against..... like ill have random skirmishes leading up to an all out war when all players reach a certain spot.
 
i found this tool (dont ask me where i got, got it a LONG LONG time ago) that i just put in a few numbers and wham! i get who wins and with how much health that winner has left and so forth..... its a realy cool tool that i use in alot with alot of my maps.
 
yah! A way to cheat the time other people use to balance when it takes me 10 min or less to be done when it takes them forever! :D :D :D
 
Things eventually pay off for the hardwork you do. You shouldn't let life be a cheat.

Well let's see, I hope you know the powers of skinning. Some things you can alpha out and you can't stretch or change anything.

What is your idea for a Marksman? Because I could try fancying up a Rifleman.

Heres what i have in my small brained head of the heros:

Marksman: A rifleman that's a little more... well camoed and not just one color all the way through.

Paladin: Just a normal paladin

Swordsman: A knight with out the horse pretty much. Like the swordsman already in the game but with out the sheild and more hero like not unit like

Preist: I already love the preist skin, but i was hoping to find a way to add the glowing thingy to him.

Sorceress: More magistic and with the glowy thingy

Hunter: Axe throwing orc. Small in size, but big on strenght apperiance, like the dwarfs oh.. and cant forget the glowy thingy.

(heres and idea lets just have the glowy thingy on all of em)

Warlock: Shaman looking, but more evil looking

Shaman: More natureish. I mean the blizzard dudes have shamans be like an orc druid, but he doesn't look it

Rider: A orc with 4 legs that can dismount and walk around with a feirce wolf by his side.

Theres the overlook of what im thinking on the heros and heres a quick castle idea i had so i made it real, tell me what ya think:
 
dont mind the title... (had to save as something). Im still pondering on a good one.
In the blank grass area in the castle im thinking of adding some shops n stuff. But i dont like it that much.... I horible at terraining.... im realy only good at triggers and some other stuff.
 
Hmm. Well for the glowing things, you need glow packs. And I can't remember how to add them, but it's quite a challenge. If you want the glow packs, you'll have to do it yourself.
 
im sure i could do it. A quick search with my friend called google :D

Hmm, well, I can't do much with the rifleman, but I can try to conceal him and make him more marksman-like...like an eye-glass or something like that.

    I think on the new one they did change it, but idk. I don't really care whatever the government is doing right now because it's consistently absurd. Like what is RFK doing in charge of health anything? I love the bear story because WTF was that, but also, pretty much every time he talks it's WTF. Like even his voice sounds microwaved

    It's actually remarkably easy to make mayonnaise though. Fun fact, it USED to kind of be a French mother sauce. I believe that Careme considered it one, it may have been aioli but that has also built a different meaning than it used to. An aioli is just mayonnaise I mixed with other shit typically, I didn't start it don't come at me

    It's very hard to do it on a large scale though

    Depending on how you pour the oil the consistency can vary wildly, but that's true for most emulsions. I can only make about two quarts at a time with my robo coup, and if I have to make several in series because I forgot to order it becomes really obvious even when I do it. We have to wait and mix them all together to make sure we have the same thing.

    Hollandaise is also kind of like that, emulsions require a very steady hand to do exactly the same every time.

    Luckily I live in an age with electricity so it's way fucking faster, but when I was just a boy trying to find my place I had some hardcore chefs that made use do things like that by hand. It is WAY easier to get right by hand because you control it and can feel it, but it takes soooooo much longer. And on the scale a modern kitchen requires... I serve 400-500 guests on average per day right now, if I had 100 then we could do things way better

    But we can't do that. In the winter yeah, but I HAVE to get people through here right now so I can afford the staff that we CAN do that. We have about 100 days of summer, and if that summer doesn't make us what it will, then I can't operate the other most of the year with my staff. The owner is talking about closing two days a week to cut down on labor, I told him he should cut down on vacations and it did not go great. I do think I won though, I have to keep my fucking core staff and they have to be gainfully employed

    Sure some of them might take a second job, but I can't just cut my entire staff to unlivable hours, nor can I can cut them off all winter if I want them to come back.

    I did do a rare thing for me and hire a girl last month without warning. Everyone was made at me because I started her at like 21, but she worked with me before and I was like don't care. She made 19 at her old job and I wanted her to come work with me, she is the best

    I'm going to get her a raise at the end of the summer. She wants to go to school again, but I want her to still work with me so.... she kind of can just tell me what the price is. I can go to 25 if she keeps up. I need to get her onto line more, that's what she wants, but I need her where she is and it's not fair that she doesn't get the little bit of raise that comes with it. She can do it no problem, I've worked with her there.

    I think it's gonna be a good fall and winter though. We're going to have a good staff, they will get along, they will be able to manage the workload and the complications, they know how to really cook this year, like every person on line knows their steak temps. Some of them use thermometers a lot and they don't always use them right, but they do know how to do it. Failure, especially in this field, is the only way to get better. They'll get it

    They won't get feel down while they do the thermometer, but we didn't have an instant read probe when I was learning. Like they did but god knows how off it is, you HAD to do it by feel. Even if the chef was fine with me bringing my own, it takes too long. Poke and know
