Setting Player's Race Before the game?

Okay I have a question now that may sound simple but I was wondering is it possible to make it so the players have a set race before the game and they can't change it without locking teams and color selection?

Lock the teams/colors.

Set Race to "Selectable" for each player.

Is that what you want?

i think it was if you go into advanced and lock player settings... or something like that. All i know is its in the advanced section

I don't know what do you mean about team locks.
Check "Fixed Player Settings" in the Forces Tab.

In the Player Tab set players to the races that you want them to be, but DON'T check "Fixed start location", try that.

Set the Player's Race in Player Properties (where you can select Race, User/Computer/Neutral, etc.) and then check the box with 'Fixed Player Settings' it was called I think.
That should do it.

I don't see anything saying Fixed Player Settings Only Fixed Starting location. And I just want the race selection locked not the teams or color.

Go in the second tab where you design forces! It's there in the upper left corner.

Edit 2: You have to check "Use Custom Forces" for that.

But won't that lock them to specific teams too?

well if you have computer player slots then they will STAY computer player slots

so it depends on what you have set in your game
