Simple AOE damage without side effects?

What's a simple AOE damage spell with a targeting image that doesn't have side effects like stun and that applies a buff to every unit or at least plays some special effect on every target? Anything besides triggering with Channel?

thunder clap, set the slow to 0 and give it the buff of w/e you want :thup:

 

[Whisky]

Non-Channeling: Flamestrike

Channeling: Death And Decay, Blizzard, Rain of Fire, Monsoon.

Both: Cluster Rockets

Edit: Thunder Clap might be the best one if you use something else as a dummy ability.

Great, thanks for all the suggestions! I'm leaning towards using Thunder Clap now with a dummy, unless I decide channeling makes sense.
