A job test in northern Spain went horribly wrong after examiners handed the budding employees a sheet with all answers to the exam questions on it. Their scores made the mess-up all the more embarrassing.

Last December, a total of 120 people sat an exam for a job at a retirement home in the city of Castro Urdiales (Cantabria region), a clear sign that jobs are few and far between in crisis-hit Spain.

The candidates were in luck though. The examining body had given them all the answers to the 30 questions that were part of the job-entry exam, Spanish radio station Cadena Ser reported.

Even though they were handwritten on the sheet, the vast majority of the people sitting the test must have thought someone was calling their bluff.

Sixty percent somehow managed to fail.
