So medal of honor came out - i had a voodoo3 - had to get a geforce 2 to play it - fine.

A while later the geforce went nuts and refused to work , so i got a prophet 4500 64mb card and everything was great again.

then i spend 8 god damn hours downloading the battlefield 1942 demo - installed and i got : can't create object . . ..

read your forum - advise was to get the latest drivers.

i have installed directx 8.1b.
the latest drivers for my graphics card and sound card.

tried again : same thing.

i have a p3 - 500 mHz - 512 MB ram - herc prophet 64mb - sound blaster 128.

'but you dont reach the minimum specs . . ' - no shit sherlock , but the game should at least start .

Am i the only one pissed off that companies that seem to be in love with geforce and dispise every other card ?

the system specs for bf1942 are high but not that high . hehehe
unreal 2003 or doom 3 that shit is the next generation of games .
and the next generation . well my radeon 8500 and amd 1 ghz ain't gonna deal with it .
time to upgrade or buy an x-box
