The Game Stops

I downloaded the demo of BF. I can start it and the menu works. Then I Start the game. I can play a few minutes, then the game stops, and I can't do anything. Can you imagine, what's the problem?

can you post your system specifications ?
ie what kinda cpu u have , vidcard and operating system
u can reply back in german no problem i can understand it and translate it for the the other mods .

Could it be, that the Game doesn't like WinXP? I'll try to choose the win98-compatibel-mode...

As in, the screen freezes? Does the sound freeze, too? It'd be easier if you registered.

Can you get back into Windows through CTRL + ALT + Delete?

What temperature are your CPU and GPU running at before this happens and after it happens? One of your compenents may be overheating. Did you build the system? Are all the fans spinning? The first thing I'd try is taking the side of your case off and, if you have one, place a fan near the case, blowing air into it.

Let us know what happens.

When the PC freezes, I can't use ctrl+alt+del...
Yes I build the system, all three Fans are working, but I think I need one more. But I don't know, if I have one, I'll search tomorrow.

The CPU temperature was 53°C.
I removed sides of the case, now it's 49°C.
The GPU I don't know.

Okay, know I take a look, if I can play, without crashing the system...

No, there are no other progs in the background, no www connection, nothing. I started the PC this morning, an I was able to play about 10 Minutes. So I think, that's the PC is overheating...

put a desktop fan on the side
if it stops crashing then that was the problem
