The blog is like the story, sort of supposed to be funny I guess.
It's pretty interesting since there are so many crazy things there. Too crazy, seems a bit random, though I guess that's the point. Slow things down a bit.
It was entertaining. I like the way you write, it's similar to the way I think out loud in my head (if that makes any sense). You could have used a few more commas in a few sentences, and some slight reordering of the words.
For instance: So I got off around midnight and payed for the car winshield which was pretty expensive, just for the record.
Could be: So i got off around midnight and payed for the car windshield, which, for the record, was pretty expensive.
But anyway, I think the randomness was partly what made it entertaining. Good stuff though, keep it up. (that's what she said )
I did not really like it. Now before you get offended, you know I'm a fan of your work. I just don't feel like this is a good example of your talent. There was not really a plot so much as a random string of events. All in all I think you can do better.
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
