Unit orders delayed

Im making a strategy map and I encountered the following problem:

When there is high density of units, when I give them orders, these are kinda delayed, like waiting for something. The order cannot be canceled. Its especially bothersome because it concerns heroes aswell. Anybody knows whats the exact reason of such behaviour, and perhaps any solution?

I have encountered the problem in previous situations and it seems it's just the way the game acts... because of too many units it has a hard time processing all the orders for them. I have found no way to avoid this... except minimizing the number of units.

That's because the "OrderEngine" Blizzard implemented is a piece of JUNK!
Same goes for the "Collision" and "Pathing" engines..

Pretty sure it has to do with the order formation too.
It tries to sort the units into a certain order.
Try changing the formation to the non-triangle one, then issuing an order.
