So I got a desktop and a laptop computer, and when I plug my verizon wireless USB aircard into my desktop, it works great it gets 2/4 to 3/4 bars average, but my laptop gets 0/4 to 1/4 and disconnects randomly all the time. Why is this?

I tried moving my keyboard and stuff for the desktop and I put my laptop as close as I could to the exact spot my desktop sits and it still gets crap signal, but then I take it out and put it in my desktop and its up to 2 or 3 bars again.... Is there anything I can do to make it work better on my laptop?

It's not a crappy laptop either, its an 17.1" Asus gaming laptop.

Laptop was plugged in and even in overclocking mode, I also tried it out of overclocking and still same thing. The only differences in the comps are

Desktop is HP, 750gig hardrive, 8 gigs RAM.
Laptop is Asus, 500gig hardrive, 6 gigs RAM.

Both have windows vista home premium.
