Anyone know how their attack works? For those who's never actually played sc2, they have a channeling attack(a beam) that deals increasing damage over time.
Just from playing, if they become in range of an enemy unit or building they begin auto attacking, and continue attacking while moving so long as they face their enemy with about a 30degree deflection tolerance either way. As it channels damage increases, I'm pretty sure it starts with base damage that shows and increases exponentially upwards, but gradually for less and less.
Or so it looks like from playing. Coding/within the editor, I haven't a clue.
You got the attack down slightly wrong. The void ray can keep their laser beam charged as long as they attack before X seconds. The damage also only increases twice as you can see by the animation and doesn't change from there unless you stop attacking.
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
