what are the specifics on rep

ok, i understand how reputation works and al. . ., but i want to know a bit more

for instance, the more rep u have the more points given, but what exactly is the ration, of points recived to points you give

also, how many people do i have to give rep to, before i can give rep to someone twice.

Sorry but I am not giving the exact ratio.

It is either 5 or 10 different reps before you can rep the same person again.

Speaking of specifics on reputation, if I delete a post (or, for that matter, the whole thread containing the post) for which someone has given me reputation, does the reputation stay?
