What does Decay Power stand for in the spell shadow strike?

ok so whats decaying damage then?

Im trying to find a DOT spell to replace my old one with (doom) cause i dont want the unit silenced but my spell is instantly killing anything i cast it on

hmm i dunno whats wrong then, i have decaying damage at 25, and decay i tried at 0, 1, 6 ect.. makes no difference still insta kill..

Put it to 6.10 and check the normal one and see whats diffrent that could cause it

If I remember correct, it's the value that determines how many steps the poison will start to wear off over. So if the value is 2, the slow effect will be removed over 2 ticks of the shadow strike.

No it's not.

Shadow Strike contains following data fields:

Attack Speed Factor = The attack speed slow when the strike sets in.
Movement Speed Factor = Same as attack speed, except movement speed.
Decay Power = The factor at which the attack/movement speed is re-added.
Decay Damage = The damage that will be inflicted with each tick.
Initial Damage = Self-explanatory
Casting Time = Time between ticks
Duration = The time over which the effect lasts.
