General What Does The Whitehouse SOPA Statement Actually Mean?

Since there is alot of fuss going on about SOPA i thought i should mention this post from Michele Neylon.
Michele Neylon is the founder of http://www.blacknight.com/ an irish Domain name registrar and hosting company.
Mr. Neylon was also present at the Whitehouse meetings.

Last year Whitehouse staff had meetings with ICANN accredited registrars and registries in Washington DC and 24 hours later in Brussels. While the meeting in DC involved a reasonably sized group of people, the one in Brussels involved 2 registrars and three US officials. I was one of the two registrars at the meeting.

I should mention that ICANN was invited to these meetings but declined.

As usual Mr. Neylon is dead on with his analysis.
